Specialists of the American company OKOndt Group LLC have access to the cutting-edge technologies and educational materials in the field as they are part of the OKOndt GROUP group of companies – a globally well-known manufacturer with 25-year experience in the NDT.

Since 1993, OKOndt GROUP has been offering development and building of the portable devices and automated nondestructive testing systems. Today, we produce a range of around 4000 kinds of transducers and over 40 devices, including but not limited to:

OKOndt GROUP sustainably develop partnership and clientele in over 70 countries customizing the equipment according to the customers requirements.

Representatives of the OKO Group of companies attend the exhibitions and conferences organized by the American Society For Nondestructive Testing (ASNT Annual Conference), and starting from 2019, we have been the exhibitors at the Railway Interchange railway exhibition and conference hosted by the REMSA (The Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association). Due to the increasing number of requests for our equipment purchase and for consultations, a one-stop representative office establishment in the United States of America has become a necessity. OKOndt Group LLC company was created specially for that purpose.

Railway Interchange-2019

Of course, OKOndt GROUP participated in the largest forum in North America dedicated to the railroad industry - the Railway Interchange-2019. Our company was presented as a member of REMSA, we have been a corporate member of REMSA since spring 2019. In the RI-2019 OKOndt GROUP exhibited our ultrasonic single rail flaw detector UDS2-77, the set for the rail welded joints testing USR-01, multifunctional flaw detectors: ultrasonic device Sonocon B and eddy current tool Eddycon C. The booth of OKOndt attracted a lot of attention, we established new business contacts with several American companies and got new inquiries for quality equipment designed for the railroad testing and detection of both manufacturing and in-service defects.

Annual gathering of the NDT specialists - Conference and Exhibition Nondestructive Testing - 2019, Kyiv

OKOndt Group once again brought together nondestructive testing specialists, scientists, equipment developers and representatives of industrial enterprises in the hospitable conference hall of its building. Nondestructive Testing - 2019 took place in a fruitful atmosphere of professional discussion of vital issues of the industry, exchange of views, hearing of prepared reports. Within the framework of the Conference, a sectional work was also organized and a seminar was held to exchange experience between the NDT Personnel Certification Bodies and Training and Qualification Centers.

Business trip to Dhaka (Bangladesh) — eddy current flaw detector Eddycon C operation training

In may 2019, the specialists of our company visited Bangladesh on customer's request. Bangladeshi colleagues earlier purchased Eddycon C - eddy current multi-functional flaw detector, which they intended to use for servicing their aircraft fleet. As they didn’t apply the eddy current NDT method before, they needed a specialist, who could show them all functionalities of the tool. OKOndt experts held a theoretical presentation and a practical training on the skin of the Bell-407 S3-CRM helicopter, at the end of which Bangladeshi specialists tried to operate Eddycon C by themselves. The customer was satisfied with the results of the training.

OKOndt Group™ Eurasia Rail – 2019, Turkey

Our company featured its products at the world's third largest exhibition of the railway transport, equipment and services. This year, 229 companies exhibited at the Eurasia Rail, and the event welcomed 12,000 attendees. OKOndt GROUP™ demonstrated its ultrasonic and eddy current equipment for rails and welds testing, such as the UDS2-77 and UDS2-73 flaw detection trolleys, the USR-01 kit, portable flaw detectors Sonocon B and Eddycon C that were extremely popular with the visitors of the exhibition!

Another business trip to the USA. Presentation of the ultrasonic rail testing equipment and training

On March 2019, OKOndt Group™ visited the USA one more time. Our American partners, who purchased the ultrasonic single-rail flaw detector UDS2-77 CR that can be used both for the crane rail and regular rails testing, needed a training on how to operate the equipment. Also OKOndt's specialists held a presentation of the USR-01 kit, which included a practical work on rails with flawed welds. It was a very busy and fruitful business trip — OKOndt Group got other requests for equipment and seminars.

Training for the Turkish engineers of State Railway (TCDD)

Our partner - Turkish State Railway — at the beginning of 2019, after purchasing the eddy current single rail flaw detector ETS2-77 requested a training to get familiarized with a full range of trolley capabilities in practice. OKOndt engineers came to Izmir, held a theoretical presentation then conducted a practical training on the railway track section and at the metropolitan. Our panthers were satisfied with the NDT equipment, they had bought from our company, stating that it would definitely help them to improve the general condition of country railway tracks.

Specialists of OKOndt GROUP™ demonstrated to the technical department of Polskie Koleje Państwowe S.A. the UDS2-77 ultrasonic rail flaw detector operation and discussed the possibility to modify the equipment, namely, the frame structure modification as per PKP requirements.

InnoTrans-2018, Berlin

OKOndt GROUPТМ's first appearance at one of the most significant railway forums — trade show for transport technology InnoTrans-2018, which took place in Berlin on September 18-21. The show was very impressive through numbers: 150 thousand visitors, 3 thousand exhibitors that came from 60 countries, our company among them as well!

In the Fall 2018, the specialists of our company met with the partners from South Korea, Korea Technology Science, Co., Ltd company. OKOndt GROUP™'s engineers demonstrated operation of our devices at the metropolitan of Seoul, as well as on the railway track, namely: ultrasonic flaw detectors Sonocon B and UDS2-77 and eddy current flaw detector Eddycon C, that detected all the defects in the rails with a very precise sizing and locating of the same.

OKOndt at the annual Exhibition ASNT (USA)

October 28-31, 2018, Houston, TX (USA) housed the Annual Exhibition organized by the American Society for Nondestructive Testing. Our delegates took part in this major international NDT forum for the fifth time. Specialists of OKOndt GROUP held several meetings with the colleagues, during which they discussed vital problems of the industry, and demonstrated an array of developments at the booth, namely: wireless welds testing system TOFD Man, single rail line flaw detection trolley, and multipurpose flaw detectors.

This year, the NDT Conference and Exhibition that is annually organized by OKOndt GROUP™ coincided with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the SPE "Ultracon-Service". Many colleagues from various countries all over the world came to express congrats to the company!

Turkey, Izmir, December 2018

OKOndt GROUP™ provided demonstration and training on how to operate their NDT equipment: the UDS2-77 ultrasonic rail flaw detector and the eddy current flaw detection trolley for rails ETS2-77. The training took place in the Metro and on the railway track.

European conference of NDT 2018 (ECNDT)

June, 11 – June, 15, Swedish city Gothenburg, OKOndt GROUP™ participated in the Conference and Exhibition organized by the European Federation for NDT! There was a new-comer in our team – the mannequin Stas whose role was to demonstrate the TOFD man Wireless System for welds testing.

Test drive TOFD equipment at Oceaneering International, Inc., UK

On December 11, 2017 in Swansea, UK, the specialists of our partner Oceaneering International, Inc. conducted a test drive of the new equipment for non-destructive testing of pipeline welds – the TOFD.Pro and TOFD.MAN systems produced by OKOndt GROUP.
